Ryan Robinson & Wolf Acoustic Duo at the Haiku Mill Maui
My buddy David Wolf (everyone calls him Wolf) and I played a Maui wedding at the Haiku Mill this previous August. While Wolf and I have clocked many hours together playing in the past, up until this wedding we had a two month break, but from the years of experience it was business as usual. We had a great time and the guests loved us.
Our past experiences as playing at the Haiku mill has been fantastic. It has all the style and charisma of an old time farm on Maui with a sophisticated elegant twist. The venue was an operating mill back in 1861 and since then through renovations, the Haiku Mill wedding venue looks like the ruins of a small ancient cathedral. It is quite an impressive venue have our Boss PA sound system pumping out our music through. To check the venue click here. The Haiku Mill Maui.
As a duo, (some people say duet but I like duo, duet sounds too classical, duo has the association of super heroes!) we both sing covers and originals. To give you a better idea of what we sound like here is small peak of some of the artists we cover; Ed Sheeran, Bob Marley, John Mayer, Jason Mraz and Stevie Wonder. We both play guitar and bass and switch it up on a regular basis to keep people entertained and it’s more fun for us as well. We both sing lead vocals and back up harmony and we are constantly learning new tunes. Speaking of new tunes, we should hopefully have some new video’s of Wolf and I playing together in the next couple of posts!
